Our objective is to assist larger privately owned companies to restore financial stability though a carefully planned and implemented turnaround process including appropriate restructuring and refinancing. This enables the management team to re-direct its time and skills to the technical, marketing and selling aspects of the business with improved management focus, objectives and performance adding shareholder value.

Usually, the turnaround process will consist of a period of intensive development of the business during which equity and working capital may be available to help the business to overcome the increasingly prevalent lack of structured finance. We are retained by the investment managers of Eternitas Investment Fund LP (full details are available on request) and may be able to provide this type of short term turnaround funding.

The funding, for projects of between £100,000 and £5m, will be on a supervised basis with the intention of returning the business to the original shareholders or arranging a trade sale as required. Security will generally be required for loans and a combination of interest, fees and share options will be due to reflect the investment risk, professional advice, management support and the added value to the business.

We will endeavour to give an initial opinion within five working days of a proposal being submitted and if we are unable to assist we will advise you of other options. Where there is acceptance in principle, a final decision and any proposal will be notified within 14 working days and will require a prompt commitment from you.
