Armitage Jones LLP was founded by three highly experienced directors, each with many years’ involvement as leading advisors in their respective professional disciplines.


A J Armitage FCCA, FIPA, FICM
Tony Armitage is a Chartered Certified Accountant and Insolvency Practitioner (no longer taking formal insolvency appointments) with over 30 years’ experience of corporate recovery and restructuring. Over the past ten years, he has worked as a turnaround practitioner helping numerous SMEs to avoid formal insolvency procedures.

C W Jones
Chris Jones is an experienced solicitor and businessman, having practised as an insolvency and corporate recovery lawyer and managed the international growth of a major law firm. He has several board appointments in a range of companies and works as a business advisor undertaking turnaround and business support work. Chris is a Fellow of R3 and a member of the Institute of Credit Management.

S Padgett
Simon Padgett has 20 years’ business experience, being involved in a number of diverse businesses from healthcare to leisure. More recently he was the Development Director of a regional restaurant and public house group which he assisted in building and selling to an AIM listed company. Simon now undertakes consultancy in commercial and residential property sectors for a number of national clients.
